Pros: This application essentially is a weight management tool. It has a database for energy created by various food and energy expense that happens when a specific activity is undertaken. One can set target of a body weight, keep track of current weight and the energy budgeting required. You could create visual charts that clearly show the changes one will have to achieve. Main goal of Energy Diary is a logging food and activities during day. Program contains database of 7146 foods with nutrition data for each food. Program also contains database of 603 activities with energy expense for each activity. One can add your own food data to the database. Energy income and expenses can be logged on a daily basis track body measurements such as height, weight, body mass index etc. As one can track target as well as achievements, one could fine tune the food program as you go along.
The user interface is a simple one with easy to use features and quite easy to learn too. A diary helps keep notes of one’s progress and notes that relate to the program. A calendar and simple controls make the application very easy to use. Historical data helps manage the weight control/ fitness management program easily. Also helps project the target energy budget for future dates.
